Set up WPSocialShare step by step: install the plugin, choose networks, add profiles, protect content and move your settings safely with JSON.
1. Install and choose your networks
Check WordPress 6.0+ and PHP 8.0+, install the official package and open Settings → WPSocialShare. Enable the service, choose your networks and set their order. Use a block or shortcode where you need a specific placement.
2. Add profiles and protect content
Choose manual figures or a supported provider and configure any required credentials. For protected sections, use the login locker and test as both a guest and a signed-in user. Exclude protected URLs from public caches.
3. Choose a language and preserve your configuration
Select the WordPress language or one of the plugin’s 14 variants. Export settings as JSON before an update. Restore only a trusted configuration file and check sharing, profiles and access afterward.
